The StudioOne 2.0 comes with both onboard audio output (Front Panel 3.5mm) as well as what it considers “external” audio output (L/R Out channels on the ¼” outputs located on the rear of the system). Livestream Studio automatically defaults to (and is unchangeable) the external audio output devices. This has existed for years in Studio without change. In order to bypass this please see the following work around below.
By default, the Front Panel 3.5mm jack will not monitor Livestream Studio, it will only output Windows audio.
You have two options for monitoring Livestream Studio
- You can disable the ¼” outputs via sound devices panel.
- This will allow you to use your ¼” INPUTs as well as the 3.5mm outputs on the front/back of the system.
- You can purchase a ¼” to 3.5mm adapter and use the output from the ¼ sound card (USB CODEC)
- This will not allow you to monitor Studio from the onboard 3.5mm jacks, but the rest of the system sounds will still work through there.
- This will allow you to monitor Livestream Studio from the ¼” (USB CODEC) jacks on the back of the system.
The Adapters linked below are confirmed to work with Option #2 above.
